A Vision for the Future of Equine Dentistry

After 31 years in equine dentistry and earning Master Certification, I’ve had the privilege of seeing this profession evolve and grow. I believe the time is right for us to come together as an industry and build something that serves both the horse and the professionals who care for them.

​

My vision for this new association is to create an organization that promotes education, professionalism, ethical standards, continued learning, and collaboration within equine dentistry.

​

I want to see practitioners working together rather than working in isolation — sharing knowledge, learning from one another, and continually raising the standard of care available to horses.

​

Most importantly, I want this association to have a strong voice for what is best for the horse. Our industry has an opportunity to establish greater consistency, credibility, and accountability while encouraging innovation and advancing the science and practice of equine dentistry.

This association should be about more than a title or a membership. It should be about building a stronger profession, supporting its members, educating horse owners, and creating a better future for the horses we all care so deeply about.
